Peter Frampton:

PETER FRAMPTON

Perhaps best known for his #1 album, "FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE!” the WORLD'S BEST SELLING LIVE ALBUM, his music has been heard and loved by millions all over the world.

Since the early 1970's, superstar solo guitarist, singer and songwriter PETER FRAMPTON has been one of rock music's most influential artists. Frampton has had a long and successful career starting in 1968 as a British teen idol in the Herd. His contributions to other artist’s work are also considerable, including David Bowie and Ringo Starr.

Peter Frampton spent two years as part of Humble Pie and lent his talents to George Harrison for All Things Must Pass. Then, he went solo, recording his debut album Wind of Change in 1972. Backing band, Frampton’s Camel, supported him on his tour, which continued into 1974.

1975 brought Peter Frampton more success when his self-titled album went gold. He followed this with the biggest-selling live rock album at that time, Frampton Comes Alive, which showcased his talk-box guitar techniques and in-concert antics. Frampton has continued to release albums, including his most recent in 2000, Live in Detroit. See this amazing solo talent perform such hits as “I’m in You,” “Baby, I Love Your Way” and “Show Me the Way.” Peter Frampton continues to entertain and enthrall music lovers everywhere.
